Do you guys spell "Kakarotto" as well as "Vegetto"? Because I dont remember seeing anyone using "Kakarotto" in english-speaking/writing sites I do, but in the latinamerican dub (the one I've always watched) they are pronounced that way, so it's natural for me |

Kakarot or Kakarrot is generally the accepted English spelling. Kakarotto isn't used often; the only thing I can think of that does use it Dragonball Multiverse. |

Well, I was asking because the reason why "Vegetto" makes sense is because Goku's Saiyan's name is "Kakarotto", but I never see anyone use that name. |

Kakarot and Kakarotto may actually be more along the lines of just pronunciation within the Japanese language. Like Vegeta is the correct way to spell it (more or less) but the pronunciation is "Bejita" Or how in Hellsing, Alucard is turned into Ākādo in Japanese. It's not a matter of different spellings, its a matter of different pronunciations. But for Freeza, its pronounced the same way in both languages so there's no excuse for this random tumor of an 'I' to be there and even less for "Vegito" |

Yeah, I get the thing about the different possible pronounciations and spellings. The point I'm trying to make is how using "Kakarot" and merging it with "Vegeta" doesn't get you neither "Vegetto" nor "Vegito", if you use "Kakarot" then you are stuck with "Vegerot". |

I don't care if you say Vegito or Vegetto, as long as you don't say Frieza |

What about Buu and Boo? I've grown up using Frieza, Vegito, etc., but I should probably start changing that. It's just so hard once you're in the habit. |

Vegerot is retarded. Vegito is what I use most of the time, but I use Vegetto as well. I use Frieza and Freeza too. |

Just because Vegerot sounds dumb doesn't mean it's illogical. Vegito and Frieza are totally illogical |

I used to write it like 'Boo' but Booccolo, Bootenks, Boohan, doesn't look nice, Buuccolo, Buutenks, Buuhan looks much cooler so I started using Buu, however I still write 'Boo Arc' like this |

I used to use "Buu" because that's all I'd ever known thanks to FUNimation. Was it FUNimation that came up with that alternate spelling or Viz? I'm too lazy to go check my manga right now, though I think Viz uses "Boo." |

Kanzenshuu tends to use Buu. I think Viz uses Boo. Edited by IllogicalGlory, Aug 11 2013, 03:14 AM.
